This section will display details of events that the club receives invites to.
This should mean all ages at the club find out about all events.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE EVENTS ARE ADVERTISED ON BEHALF OF THE CLUBS RUNNING THEM AND SHIPLEY JUNIORS DO NOT ENDORSE THEM IN ANY WAY.
THIS IS JUST A CHANCE TO LET MANAGERS SEE WHAT IS ON OFFER.

The date for this event is Sunday 13 June 2010.
This will be run on the following basis:
Under 7’s & 8’s - Non-competitive football festival
Under 9’s & 10’s – Competitive tournament – world cup style.
This will be an FA Affiliated event.
This is always a popular event and places are limited, and are offered on a first come, first served basis. I will be sending out further details and application forms to all clubs with teams in these age groups in the near future. If you could pass onto your coaches in those age groups it would be fantastic. If you have any questions in the meantime please get in touch.

Silverdale Football Club (Walsall, West Midlands) will be holding their 13th Soccersevens Tournament for Boys and Girls during the weekend of 3rd & 4th July 2010.
This Popular tournament attracts team from all over the U.K. and we would like to extend an invitation to your Club.
Last year's event attracted teams from as far away as Liverpool, London, Wales, Bristol and Yorkshire.
We are centrally located and only 2 miles from the motorway network.
The entry fee is only £25 per team.
Age groups are as for this current season 2009/2010

I would be obliged if you could circulate these to other teams within your club.

We would like to invite your entry to our annual Summer Tournament to be held back at Fleetwood Sports Collage on Monday 31st May 2010.
This is our 9th Annual tournament and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
This year we have made some changes from last year.
This year we have also introduced a Girls competition from Under 9’s to Under 16’s
The Under 9, 10 and 11 girls will play 7 a side (2009/10 age group)
The Under 12, 13 and 14 girls will play 9 a side (2009/10 age group)
The Under 15 and 16 girls will play 11 a side. (2009/10 age group)
Some of the age groups will play on astro-turf so will need trainers, we will notify all clubs who will be playing on the astro-turf.
Entry fees are £40 per team or two for £70 in the same age group, and clubs can enter a maximum of two teams per age group. The application form enclosed and you remittance should reach the Tournament Co-ordinator no later than 1st of May 2010.

Welcome to the Woodkirk Valley 2009 Gala, to be held on the 5th & 6th June 2010.
Whether this is going to be your first visit to one of our Gala’s or a return visit, we hope that you, your team(s) and supporters have a wonderful day.
We will have many attractions to run alongside the football, including a licensed bar.
Places are limited to a maximum of ten teams in each age group, so please respond quickly to avoid disappointment.
Six players plus two substitutes maximum per team.

ANNUAL 6 A SIDE TOURNAMENT 12TH AND 13TH JUNE 2010
We take this opportunity to provide some brief details of our forthcoming tournament and enquire whether your club wishes to participate.
Fixtures and age limits (using the 2009/10 season) will be as follows:
Saturday 12th June 2010 Sunday 13th June 2010

Under 8 1/9/01 - 31/8/02 Under 9 1/9/00 - 31/8/01
Under 10 1/9/99 - 31/8/00 Under 11 1/9/98 - 31/8/99
Girls Under 12's after 31/8/98
With a restriction of no more than two teams per club per age group, we expect there to be 10 teams playing in the 6 and 7s group, and 20 teams in the older groups.
Due to West Riding Football Association rules, the 6, 7 and 8s groups will not play competitively, but there will be lots available to make it a great fun day. The 9, 10, 11 and Under 12 Girls will follow a league section, followed by quarter finals, semi finals and a final.
Arrangements are already well under way to ensure that this event is of the highest standard on and off the field, and we look forward to welcoming you to what we believe is one of the largest tournaments in the calendar.
Please find enclosed an application form for the tournament. Please return this form ASAP, and by no later than Friday 12 March 2010, with a cheque payable to "Silsden AFC" in the amount of £25 for each team. The reservations will be made on a first come -first served basis. No places can be held until receipt of payment.

Would you be please be kind enough to pass on our tournament entry form for our annual gala on June 6th to your Managers/Coaches of the relevant age groups.
Due to the popularity of the tournament we are limiting the entries to 12 per age group and will be entered on a first come first save basis when payment is received.
Details of the rules etc will be shown on our website www.drighlingtonjuniorsafc.co.uk , the age groups will be split into morning & afternoon as shown below
AM - Under 7's , 9's & 10's
PM - Under 8's,11's & 13's
Please note the under 7's & 8's will be participating in a friendly tournament and all players will receive a medal on the day.

Idle Juniors Summer 5 A SIDE Tournament 2010 - - - - -
Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th July
Venue - Apperley Bridge Playing Fields
After a years break from not hosting a Summer Tournament, we have returned this year due to popular demand, along with a Cheap entry price that beats that of any Junior Club Tournament around Bradford.
Any Club Secretaries i have sent this to please forward onto your club coaches and managers or print off to announce at your next meeting.
Enter 2 teams in the same age group before May 31st and it will only cost you £35!
We are holding the Tournament at Apperley Bridge Playing Fields over the weekend 24th & 25th of July, one week into the School Holidays.
Saturday 24th July
Boys under 12/14/16
Girls under 12/14
Sunday 25th July
Boys 7/8/9/10/11
Registration for both days is at 9-30am and 10-00am Kick Off.
Squads of up to 7, 5 play, 2 subs.
We would encourage you to enter 2 teams at the same age group to take advantage of the fantastic price offer if you enter before May 31st. Otherwise prices for 1 team is £20 and for 2 teams after the price offer deadline is £40, competitive prices that are cheaper then others around. We operate a '1st come 1st serve' basis for entry to the tournament. If you do miss the deadline for the speical offer a later deadline of 14th June to get entries in applies.

We would like to invite you to our Annual August Bank Holiday Summer Football Tournament, to be held at our home ground, on Bispham Gala Field, address details above.
This is the third year where we have been able to host the tournament back at our home ground following a significant investment in the drainage facilities. With our improved pitches and amenities, and our dedicated Tournament Committee, our 2010 tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The age groups used in our tournament will be the age groups for the 2010/2011 season, i.e. if your team is currently competing in the Under 9 age group, they will enter the Under 10 competition in this tournament.
On Saturday 28th August, the Under 8’s and 10’s will play 7-A-Side mini soccer, whilst the Under 12’s will play 11-A-Side. On Sunday 29th August, the Under 7’s and 9’s will play 7-A-Side mini soccer, with the Under 11’s playing 11-A-Side.
On Bank Holiday Monday 30th August, there will be an additional competition for the Under 11’s with an LFA backed pilot 9-A-Side competition taking place, whilst we introduce 6-A-Side football for the older age groups – Under 13’s, Under 14’s and Under 15’s competitions taking place.
There will be a limit on the number of entries per age group, so we would urge you to ensure your application is submitted to us early, so that your place can be confirmed. Last year we were booked up at most age groups well in advance of our tournament.
Entry fees are £35 per team or you can enter two teams into the same age group competition for £60 (cheques to be made payable to “BJFF”). The application form distributed with this invitation contains further information on the structure of the tournament and an entry form.
